At Nomad Kids Camp, we believe every child deserves a summer filled with adventure, friendship, and personal growth. Our experienced founders, who have worked with children for many years in education, sports, and self-development, are dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and inspiring camp environment.
Our team, comprised of members with backgrounds in international education, professional sports, coaching, and childcare, has designed a program that not only allows children to naturally learn and use English, but also fosters confidence, independence, and a love for nature.

Experienced Educators & Mentors – Organizers with many years of experience in teaching at international schools, sports coaching, and child development support are well-versed in creating a caring environment where children can participate freely and comfortably.
Safe and Secure Support System – Our camp is led by qualified instructors and assistants to ensure that each child receives close attention. Bilingual staff are also on hand to create an immersive English environment while providing support in Japanese when needed. Safety management and risk management are our top priorities, allowing children to freely and comfortably enjoy their adventures in a protected environment.
More than just camping, it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Through outdoor adventures, teamwork, and self-discovery, campers not only develop confidence, cooperation, and resilience, but also learn to express their opinions, share ideas, and act proactively. These are all essential skills for children's futures.

Meet the team
Divya Marie Kato
The representative of Atelier Kato Tokyo / Yoyogi Art Studio, she is an art specialist and atelierista with an extensive track record. With over 20 years of experience in multicultural and international environments, her teaching experience spans all generations, from early childhood education to elementary, middle, and high school, university, higher education, and lifelong learning.
This summer, Nomad Kids Camp will be leading a creative workshop and art curriculum in Shimoda. We will help children build confidence, teach them various art techniques, and support each camper in discovering their own unique "voice (expression)" through the visual language of art.
Activities and Lessons Learned:
Exploring Creativity: We draw out children's own creative potential and foster true confidence in art.
Explore diverse techniques: You will practically learn a variety of exciting art techniques, including painting, drawing, and clay modeling.
Expressing individuality: Through the visual language of art, we support children in finding their own way of expressing themselves.
Yurie Shinbori
She is the General Manager of FC Nomade and an Associate of Nomad Resort. She possesses expertise in education, sports, and psychology, and holds a Type 2 Kindergarten Teacher's License and a Childcare Worker's Qualification.
She is deeply passionate about mental and physical health (wellness), and holds qualifications as a Business Executive Coach (GCS Professional Certified Coach/TCS Certified Coach), Mental Trainer (SBT Level 3 & 2 License), and has also completed the Japan Mental Health Association's Basic Counselor Course. Furthermore, she is also active as a yoga instructor with numerous advanced qualifications, including RYT 200 (Yoga Alliance), Inside Yoga (200 hours completed), Inside Flow, SUP Yoga & Fit, and Self & Partner Stretching.
At Nomad Kids Camp, we are responsible for the overall operation and management, and we leverage our extensive experience in education and mental care to support the creation of an environment where children can confidently take on new challenges and grow in their own unique way.

Sami Gacemi
Sami brings a wealth of international experience to Nomad Kids Camp. Having spent years managing youth teams and organizing camp activities in France, he currently serves as a coach for FC Nomade in Tokyo.
In addition to his hands-on role with the campers on the field, Sami leads the marketing and communication strategies for the camp, shaping the brand's identity and community outreach. At Nomad Kids Camp, Sami combines his passion for youth development, sports leadership, and creative communication to deliver an energetic, safe, and deeply engaging summer experience for every child.
